Dr. Bill Adams is the founder of US Dental Transitions. He practiced general dentistry for 25-years after graduating from Emory in 1969. He founded our company in 1998 to help his fellow dentists transition their practices to other dentists who share similar values and philosophies. Over the last 20-years, Bill has consulted with over 6,000 dentists and transitioned over 500 practices. He is Pankey/Dawson trained, a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), and a lifetime member in the Hinman Dental Society.
As CEO of US Dental Transitions, Pete is responsible for the overall success and direction of our company. He joined the company in 2003 after working in sales for Lanier, Siemens and AT&T, which allows him to have a broader business vision for US Dental Transitions. Pete has been involved with more than 500 successful transitions and has consulted with thousands of dentists. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he earned a Bachelor of Psychology degree. He is also a graduate of the Institute of Business Appraisers and member of the Practice Valuation Study Group.
Milt recently joined US Dental Transitions after 25-years of sales and management experience with AT&T, Cisco and Citrix. His work with Fortune 100 companies brings stability to our rapidly growing company. Milt has overall responsibility for the national branding of US Dental Transitions and guiding the strategic direction. He earned his MBA and Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from Loyola University.
As part of the US Dental Transitions team, Corina is responsible for cash flow analysis, marketing and data analytics. She has worked in the dental industry for over 13 years and relies on her vast knowledge from working as a dental assistant and in the front office for a private practice and an educational institution. In addition, Corina has experience as a marketing coordinator and a Professional Service Representative for Nobel Biocare. Corina is a graduate of North Georgia College & State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and continued her MS studies at Georgia State University.
Iza has been with US Dental Transitions since 2006 and specializes in practice appraisals and practice sale agreements. Iza is the core business administrator for US Dental Transitions. She’s the main interface between the bank, Transition Advisor, the seller and the buyer.
Dr. Robin Turner practiced dentistry for 30-years before joining US Dental Transitions in 2008. She had one of the largest private practices in the United States and was rated in the top 1% of solo practitioners. She has consulted and assisted with hundreds of practices and prides herself in helping doctors, staff and patients with a seamless transition. Robin is a graduate of Georgetown Dental School.
Russ has worked for US Dental Transitions since 2011 and has over 16-years dental industry experience with Patterson Dental. His business acumen, customer focus and sales experience is valued by every client he has served. Russ received his Bachelor’s degree from the United States Navy, where he served 10-years.
Prior to joining US Dental Transitions in 2013, Doug had 24-years of successful sales and consulting experience with Dentrix and other dental technology solutions. He has helped over a thousand dental practices improve their patient communication, practice efficiency, and profitability. Doug’s depth of experience in day-to-day dental operations makes him a valuable asset to facilitate a smooth transition. He’s a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Before joining US Dental Transitions in 2012, Amanda worked in the dental field for more than 18 years – she’s a registered dental hygienist, she worked as a dental assistant, and as an Account Manager for Patterson Dental. Amanda is a graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University and Georgia Perimeter College.
Dave McIntosh has over 35-years of dental industry experience including 18-years with Thompson Dental in the Carolinas and Georgia, and 17-years with Patterson in Georgia. Dave has worked with all levels within dental practices from front office and supplies to new practice start-ups. His vast knowledge of dental equipment and consulting services brings valuable expertise to all of his clients. Dave is a graduate of the University of South Carolina – Columbia.
Dr. Dick Lester recently joined US Dental Transitions as a Transition Advisor. He practiced dentistry for 42-years, worked as a Senior Vice President for a dental consulting company, and he has also bought and sold practices on his own. Based on his experience, Dick understands the very personal nature of the transition process. He is a graduate of Emory University School of Dentistry and holds a Bachelor of Science from Mercer University.
Gretchen worked as a Vice President of Client Services and Practice Development for OrthoSynetics before joining US Dental Transitions in 2017. Her 20-years of business consulting and strategic planning experience provides the ability and confidence to guide dentists with selling or purchasing. Gretchen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Louisiana State University.
Matt has worked in the dental field for more than 20-years including sales positions with Dentsply, Brasseler USA, and Whip Mix Corporation. He’s also experienced in practice management and development through his work with Group Practices.
Randal has been involved in the dental industry for over 40-years, including working as a dental technician, owning a dental laboratory, and working at Healthco as an Account Manager. Before joining US Dental Transitions, Randal spent 17-years with Patterson Dental Company in Alabama as an Equipment Specialist. With Randal’s background, experience and knowledge, he’s dedicated to helping doctors transition their practice. He served in the United States Air Force as a dental technician and studied at Clayton State College.
Amanda joined US Dental Transitions in 2017 and has over 20-years’ experience in the dental field managing private practices and implementing Sleep Apnea programs. In addition, Amanda has worked with dentists to customize strategic plans to solve internal challenges and consulted on retirement and practice transitions. Amanda earned her MBA from Strayer University.
Derek has over 20 years of executive level experience in the dental industry, including the position of Vice President of Professional Development for Orthodontic Centers of America. His expertise in growth and expansion has afforded him the opportunity to build positive relationships with hundreds of dental specialists throughout the country, as well as large group practices and private equity firms. Derek earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Accounting from the University of South Alabama.
